The Catalonian Pavilion at Mobile World Congress hosts 57 companies and technology centers

The Mobile World Congress has become the first congress in number of delegates (72,000 according to the Barcelona Convention Bureau) hosted by the city of Barcelona, which will host up to 2018, turning it into unavoidable appointment for all companies and start-ups who want to display their products and services and give a boost to your its international business. Fifty-seven technology companies and technology centres have participated in the MWC under the umbrella offered by the Government of Catalonia Pavilion, whose designer and builder has been GECOM. Located in an strategic location within the distribution of the Halls of MWC, and with a very attractive design to improve the visibility of companies, participants have been enthusiastic with the new location and the large number of people who have passed there during the fair. The Pavilion also hosted the Brokerage Event, an space where there were more than 1,200 interviews scheduled between Catalan companies and international companies. In Hall 8.1, the Catalan government has provided also another space to accommodate eight technology centres and to show the most important projects in technological innovation in the country. This has been the fourth consecutive year that GECOM has won the tender of the Government of Catalonia to take over both the design and construction of its booth, and it has been a great success at all levels by both the design and the results that have obtained the participants in the Pavilion.
